Islamically-integrated counselling

We offer counselling that incorporates Islamic principles, ensuring the care we provide resonates with the spiritual and cultural backgrounds of our clients. Our counsellors are trained to integrate faith-based practices with modern therapeutic approaches.

Eligibility

Open to individuals seeking Islamically-integrated mental health support, including individuals, families, and children as young as four.

Access

Services can be accessed through self-referral, internal referrals from other IslamicFamily programs, or external referrals from community partners by visiting this link. Clients may also call our helpline to initiate access.

One-on-one counselling

Personalized counselling sessions are available for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health concerns. Our experienced counsellors provide a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your challenges. These sessions are Islamically integrated and focus on holistic well-being.

Eligibility

Open to adults and youth across Edmonton, surrounding areas, and Alberta.

Access

Sessions can be booked by calling our helpline or through referrals from community partners such as probation officers or caseworkers.

Group therapy & support

We facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals who benefit from shared experiences, covering topics like grief, stress management, and resilience. These sessions help create community bonds and mutual support.

Open to individuals of all faiths seeking culturally sensitive mental health support, including individuals, families, and children as young as four.

Restrictions

Join a group by signing up or through a referral from our counsellors.

Youth mental health programs

Specialized counselling services designed for youth dealing with issues like stress, identity, and relationships. These programs offer both one-on-one and peer support to help young people thrive.

Open to youth aged 12-24 in Edmonton.
