IslamicFamily's Board is entirely made up of highly skilled professionals who volunteer an extraordinary amount of time and effort contributing their expertise, guidance and leadership to growing the organization. Our board are the foundation of our organization: they dedicate their evenings and weekends to serving the community, and supporting families to flourish. 

Why Become A Board Member? 
Being on IslamicFamily's board is an opportunity to serve the most vulnerable population in our community, in a unique way. Board members bring with them a wealth of community perspectives, subject matter expertise, and passion. In addition to this, board members have a responsibility to serve the community at a strategic level, investing time in nurturing IslamicFamily programming, staffing needs, growth planning, legal and financial responsibility to the community, and much more.

The Board of IslamicFamily is an opportunity and responsibility to serve the community at a strategic level. Board members need to have familiarity with IslamicFamily, relevant experience (in social services, non-profit accounting, strategic HR, change management, law/risk mitigation, etc) and a deep passion for service.
